I am contemplating about 4 dedicated server hosts and most of them have servers in these locations: Florida My audience is mainly West Coast and East Coast…..not sure what to do? I am thinking about Florida because a company i found is offering a sweet deal but again im not sure? :/

I guess you have your answer then; price. Physical location really does not matter anymore unless you want to have close proximity for physical access to your server.

Yeah, nowawdays you don’t really have to worry about server location…the speed has improved greatly. Unless fractions of a second matter, I wouldn’t stress about it.

If all of your visitors are within the US, it doesn’t matter where it’s physically located.

If you require a very low ping than location matters. Generally the closer you are to the physical server the better your ping.
